I have the last pair of the original "Version One" Vittora speakers available for sale. Fully horn-loaded, with all the dynamics and realism you would expect from a big horn speaker, these speakers are the predecessor to the current Vittora speaker. They retain much of the same character of the bigger Vittora "2", with well-defined and accurate tonal quality throughout, but especially in the mid-bass. They use a large 2" throat midrange horn and a high-quality B&C 2" outlet neodymium midrange driver. They have the sweet sounding Ciare tweeters, and a set of Volti VTS400 networks that allow a myriad of balancing choices for the end user. The cabinets are absolutely gorgeous, finished in Bosse Cedar with catalyzed satin lacquer finish and black grill cloth. Structurally they are built as heirloom speakers, with Baltic Birch plywood and bracing for the sides of the bass horn. Veneer, finish, cloth, and hardware are all top quality and will last for decades. Price has been reduced from $7,918.00 to $6,500. Crossover Networks These networks will work with Klipsch Khorns upgraded with the V-Trac horn. They will also work with stock Khorns, and would be a nice upgrade from the original crossover networks used by Klipsch. They are an identical design to the VTK400, except with a fixed inductor for the woofer, and a Solen Fastcap for the midrange filter. You can expect very nearly the same performance from these networks as with the VTK400's. The components are new, but they were part of another set of networks that I built and never used, so some of the parts may show signs of having been moved over from other network boards to these boards. Only $450 for the pair.
